-We put a sucker on our tongues to determine what type of vowel we were using, and documented it--sweet!
-I can now write ANY language using the /fontIk/ writing system. and I think I learned languages more quickly, too.
-A Cultural History of the English Language - I learned where and why English is such a crazy, complicated, and beautiful language. I gained a better understanding of Middle English.
